[Verse 1] I feel more than human On a mission to save what I hold dear Ain't got time for losing 'Cause I know her time may be drawing near I hear them all around me: Otherworldly monsters standing in my way Fate's bestowed upon me So it's up to me to save the day [Chorus A] You'll never take me alive And I will take what is mine But after all that is said I'll stand victorious, knee-deep in the dead [Verse 2] You know you won't defeat me 'Cause you know I'm gonna take you down Senses all augmented: It's the end for you, there is no doubt When you all have is muscle, With my arsenal, you shall disappear I ain't gonna struggle: I'll be the only person standing here {rpt Chorus A} [Chorus B] I'll fight your legions of Hell I'll stop at nothing to kill There ain't no-one you can't send I'm gonna pull through, knee-deep in the dead [Bridge] As I stand upon the shores of Hell It's an ultra-violent nightmare And still I have to shout out loud I'm too young to die — Rip and tear I'm too young to die — Rip and tear {rpt Chorus A} {rpt Chorus B}

about

Today marks the tenth anniversary of "Olduvai (Knee-Deep in the Dead)", an admittedly-unknown song from my back catalogue, one that I had never put here on Bandcamp. But, much like what I had done with Aphelion back in 2021, I had long felt that this track also needed the sound it truly deserved.

For archive's sake, I have included the original 2013 version of "Olduvai" alongside the 2023 Redux, both for (minimum) FREE; alternatively you can click "Buy Now" for a bunch of purchase-exclusive extras.
