There is not a mystery that cannot be solved You have to learn from history or you'll never learn at all Only you can shape your fate And not become the thing that you hate There is a reason we fell And this is our story to tell...
2.
[VERSE 1] --Countries of the Eastern Union of Kingdoms: Centuries have passed since we've seen the plight of war A time we never want to re-emerge The many years of bloodshed left this land all torn But time and time again we never learned: A myriad of names, thinking they could have it all Believing all others should exist beneath And even though we played this game a hundred times before It never was one we could complete A million melodies, a cacophony: This was all a realm once divided The High Royals came along, fixing our songs And built a harmony now united! [CHORUS] Long live the Kings of the Eastern Union! Together we stand, 'neath the peace they have formed! Watching over, guiding us, responsible for saving us They were the ones who had ceased all the wars [VERSE 2] --High Royal First Archduke Parit' VII: Sixty-dozen years of this ancient, peaceful way The anniversary brought by the dawn; Ruling from the back, ne'er going "Do as I say", But only making sure they play along; "We'll save them from dismay, teach them our ways, Hoping they will gain a new perspective: To help our fellow man, do what we can And show the path of war is misdirected" {CHORUS}
3.
[VERSE 1] --High Royal Second Archduchess Dasir III: I can’t believe that this is true For in our arms we're holding you With the wish that we were granted, it feels so much more I know we will treat you well I know you’ll learn to love and care, And like the Rings up in the sky, I will teach you how to fly So that one day you will soar.. [CHORUS] Sleep sound, Alìyara, there'll be greatness up ahead You'll see that there is nothing that will ever compare One day, Alìyara, all you see will all be yours But 'til then, our daughter, we will be always be here [VERSE 2] As I look into your eyes I see a glow that looks like mine And should the days be ticking fast, Know that this will come to pass: I will keep you safe from harm You see before you a wild world So in the meantime, you needn't concern yourself {CHORUS}
4.
[VERSE 1] --Róçtok: Would you listen to them, and the songs that they all sing? Oblivious to their own apathy I was never a prince but I was destined to be King To rule the lands and all that I can see Centuries ago, When all these lands could never get along We never interfered But we bowed our heads in tow When those damned High Royals had came along; The one true act of treason! [CHORUS] I will claim what’s mine by right I will do my family proud So won't you come join me at my side And we will take the High Royals down! [VERSE 2] "And now I know what you’re thinking: Me? A claim to the throne? Let me give you the abridged verson And the truth shall be known..." Trace my family tree: The blood of the Settlers flows deep in my veins And I know of the stories: A tribe of ancient men And fewer generations to my name.. (A tale for another time) Is this my chance for glory? {CHORUS} [BRIDGE] Once and for all! This is our call! We will do this dance with destiny And soon take down this tyranny It’s time to pick a side! So will you take my hand and join the fight? To finally claim to "ours" by right?! [VERSE 3] Gather 'round my friends, for I have incredible news A chance to take back everything we've earned The High Royals up there, they don't see their impending doom They can't predict the lessons they’ll soon learn Now I've lit the fuse All I can do now is watch the sparks fly And I'm getting impatient; Revolution's overdue, And I know now this victory will be mine I feel my heart is racing.. {CHORUS} ((It's time to claim what's mine by right)) Once and for all!
5.
[VERSE 1] Say have you heard the news? A chance for the people to rule: There's talk across the realm; A brand new era's dawning soon Of golden days, there's no time for delay The High Royals will see that we all play for keeps [CHORUS 1] It’s time to tell them We won't be silent If they won't listen, Resort to violence! The tide is turning; We too are equal! You're not deserving, "King", Will of the People! [VERSE 2] They hear the sirens sound; It's red alert, so stand your ground Put up your best defence: A mob of people overwhelm A thousand calls, they storm the palace walls A thousand pairs of eyes, and not disorganised [VERSE 3] The crowd's on the attack; We're doing our best to hold them back The gunfire's deafening; I fear that we're not gonna last Is this the end? Can we no longer defend? Time to lay down your lives! The High Royals must survive! [CHORUS 2] Shouts ring like thunder, Show your allegiance! If we're outnumbered, We'll go down fighting! Blade versus bullet, We're all surrounded; As they are closing in Royals! Go into hiding! [VERSE 4] --High Royal Archduke Parit' VII: I feared that this day would come; But here, Yanà, is my plan: I beg you, take my flesh-and-blood; And raise her as best you can --Yanà: I swear I'll keep our secret as I make my escape I'll treat her like one of my own, I'll keep her safe [VERSE 5] --High Royal Archduke Parit' VII: So Róçtok, it has come to this: You aim to strike me down And should you ever have your wish You'll never get her now This sacrifice of mine is one that I'm willing to make And even if I die tonight, our bloodline will not end [VERSE 6] --Róçtok: Your time has all run out, why not surrender now? Or do you think you'll win when you've lost everything? It almost seems surreal that you will taste my steel So draw your final breath, for you have nothing left [VERSE 7] --High Royal Archduke Parit' VII: My throne will be reclaimed, it is our destiny Enjoy your victory, for it is temporary If it's come to this, accept my final gift: You better watch your back; Róçtok, your reign will never last
6.
[VERSE 1] --Róçtok: The first piece has fell into place, Time for the second phase Of my master plan: Ideas implanted Soon I'll take over the lands But secretly I'll instigate: They already know my name I'll twist their words like a parasite Promising them paradise [CHORUS] --Chorus: So hail he who set us free Defender of the Glory A shining light, a beacon of prosperity It's all for one, and one for all So onwards to victory This road of gold is stretching to infinity [BRIDGE 1] We know the future's bright When together we fight [VERSE 2] --Róçtok: You think that I'm here to deceive? Oh, don’t be so naïve I'm on your side, no need to hide You better put your faith in me There is no room to second guess Lest next is second best So sing along, "we" wrote this song You better stay in key {CHORUS} [BRIDGE 2] But don’t say it's not real Or too good to be true They see and hear your every movement Watching over you... {CHORUS} ((So hail me, who set you free)) [CHORUS (variant)] --Róçtok: And now it's done, this battle's won I'm free to write my story I've made my claim, I gained my prize, against the odds It's all for one, I've won it all My future lies before me I'm standing tall, to take my place among the Gods [BRIDGE 3] --Róçtok: I know my future's bright Now everything is mine!
7.
[VERSE 1] --Yanà: It's another day in the life of an ordinary girl Living each day like the last as it's all she’s ever known Leading a humble life with her father at her side No worries, no regrets, and nothing to be frightened of --Alìyara: But deep inside I feel That there must be something so much more It all seems so unreal Is there a path out there that I am destined for? [CHORUS] --Yanà: In innocence, we do find her Kept safe from the world And any danger that may befall In blissful ignorance — I will try and Protect her from the evils That I've come to know [VERSE 2] --Yanà: But there’s something I'll admit, there's a secret that I hide Concerning her childhood, and it's quite the darker side I'm tasked to shelter her from something she must never know So I'll have to play along and just hope that it will go away... I know that she is happy Unaware of who she really is To see her smile and laughing It fills me up with pride in the promise I intend to keep {CHORUS} [BRIDGE] --Alìyara: Somehow this doesn't feel right Like a part of me is somehow missing Images emerging from the grey; What's going on inside my head? There's a signal coming through the noise: And I don't understand what it is telling me I don’t know which words I have to say; Should I tell him that I'm scared? (Should I tell him that I'm scared? I need to tell him that I'm scared!) {CHORUS} [CHORUS (variant)] --Yanà: So I'll hold my tongue, I will never Break the vow I made I'll never answer should she ask For she is still a child, as I care for her I will keep her safe From her blood-stained past

Cold Sweat 06:05
[VERSE 1] --Alìyara: Awake again, the hundredth time tonight The thousandth time this week Did I have that dream again? I focus, but the image disappears Wiped clean from my head It goes as quickly as it came And everytime I close my eyes There’s visions I'm visited by Like someone's waiting here for me to drift.. I try to rest 'til the rising-sun But I can't help but toss and turn So why am I burdened with sleeplessness? I try my best to forget, but still it haunts me.. [CHORUS] --Yanà: Little girl, oh don't you cry Can't be hurt by what is not real It's just another restless night Interrupted by a dream I know it's easy be scared Of something that you can't quite see But as you sleep sound in your bed There's no monsters underneath [VERSE 2] --Alìyara: I'm in a room and people shout outside I hear them running, scared For then the image starts to clear: A face I've never seen but recognise Followed by a flash of red And then I lie awake in fear --Yanà: I'm worried by what she describes; It sounds like what happened that night When Róçtok killed her family Since she's the secret that I've kept Else Róçtok might come for her next Is this what I've always feared would come? Is what she says just a dream, or repressed memory? {CHORUS} [BRIDGE] --Alìyara: And maybe it's in my head But why me? I have not sinned Just what did I do to deserve this curse? And though I ask what do they mean There's no answers that I yield Is something being kept from me? …And still they haunt me... {CHORUS} [OUTRO] Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh Woah-oh woah-oh oh oh oh

[VERSE 1] As the sun begins to set on this town A young man looks up at the mighty castle walls Turning 'round, he sees a world pacified; Comatose and unaware of it all: --Duras'kò: Don't you people see? This is not what we envisioned for our land The promises they made They took no time to break and say it was part of the plan [VERSE 2] --Duras'kò Your picture on the telescreen tells a lie How you hypnotised us all seems bizarre: Looking 'round I see a homeland defiled You say we feast when I see our people starve If you want me to beg I may bow my head when I am forced to sing along But you don't listen, though: I pretend to know the words but I sing a different song [CHORUS] --Duras'kò: So join me in my chorus: They will not ignore us anymore (If he was fighting for us, he'd give back what he stole) Róçtok, be careful what you wish for: Your harmony has discord, I'm not afraid To show that this war is one worth fighting for [VERSE 3] --Duras'kò: Where's this prosperous nation you had described? When I see our people live in poverty? I don't want the world; just what was prescribed: You promised us gold just to throw it away We hear it every time: "We must fall in line or be branded a traitor" But you own the media: You are no leader, just a ruthless dictator [VERSE 4] --Duras'kò So like a virus, I will spread through this town Both my message and a call to arms: With your help we will soon take back the crown Return it to the ones who are most deserved Soon we will resist I promise you this; your days are counting down Starting whisper quiet Assembling our choir, and soon we shout out loud {CHORUS} [BRIDGE] --Duras'kò: You should know that I am Not the first to make my Voice be heard and speak the words of revolution Mother, you were vocal Unafraid to shine the Light on the corruption, how we failed to prosper Róçtok's failure sparked a vision So you set out to expose the truth Once outspoken, now imprisoned Proving what you always knew Your incarceration's my inspiration I know what I have to do: Your freedom is now my mission I'd do anything for your rescue.. [VERSE 5] --Duras'kò: And so my voice has grown; We pretend to know the words but we sing a different song And when the time is right We'll begin our strike to finally right your wrongs {CHORUS} [VERSE 6] --Yanà: You'll stay away if you know what’s best for you Talking to him's strictly forbidden I will protect you, that boy's bad news His words are nothing but danger [VERSE 7] --Alìyara: I hear his voice echoing through these streets A whispering of a resistance Maybe he knows why I'm plagued by these dreams Is there a chance he has the answer?
10.
[VERSE 1] --Duras'kò: I won't pretend I don't know why you’re here For you have heard my message loud and clear --Alìyara: The things I've been hearing, they sound familiar, so I ask: These nightmares are plaguing me, so can you fill in the blanks? [CHORUS 1] --Duras'kò: These streets were paved with gold Back in the days of old My mother told me that you could be anything Then Róçtok came along; The bastard stole it all Our dreams had died the day he took things over [VERSE 2] --Duras'kò: The concept was so damn easy to sell Until one day he took it all for himself --Alìyara: I'm curious if Róçtok's climb to the top bears a curse, So maybe is there any way that it can be reversed? [CHORUS 2] --Duras'kò: The history books are wrong; He killed them one by one And he has the balls to call himself a "saviour" But here is my theory: One Royal got away It’s my belief that they're still out there waiting 'Til the time is right; ready to strike! [VERSE 3] --Yanà: Girl, what have I told you? And when will you ever learn?! You're playing with fire While I make sure you can't get burned! --Alìyara: At least he's giving answers! How many do you give me? None! You say you protect me, But what do you protect me from? I'm sick of this silence So what are you hiding now?! I'm asking you kindly, What's weighing down your furrowed brow?
11.
[VERSE 1] --Yanà: I've had to hold my tongue for so long I wanted you to forget, But all your dreams were leaving clues You thought I was playing dumb; You were so wrong I guess it's time for me to tell the truth... [VERSE 2] --Yanà: The Royal he speaks of, it is you You are the secret that I've kept For on that day, I rescued you From being killed by Róçtok's men It's so damn hard for me to say 'Twas a habit to keep this lie I hope that you don't feel betrayed And understand my reasons why [VERSE 3] --Alìyara: How could you keep this from me? After all my years of restless sleep But yet I'm sympathetic Because for all of this time, you were protecting me [VERSE 4] --Duras'kò: I knew my theory was right But I can’t believe it's right in front of me It all changes tonight, I know the best is yet to come We got what we all wished for; For she's not just some ordinary girl And yet I feel torn on what is coming next...
12.
-Behind the palace walls, that afternoon- --Róçtok: You know I've been watching you all of this time And only up to now, have I been kind I know that you are hiding Something important from me And I know that that something's Just the one thing that I need I guess I always knew it deep in my bones My mission incomplete; a threat to my throne --Duras'kò: I’m sorry, Alìyara I don't mean to cause you pain But I swore upon my mother Our fight won't be in vain --Róçtok: Stop your nonsense, child; I won't dig your grave Just tell me where she lives and I'll keep us safe --Duras'kò: My conscience fades, I know she Won't forgive this treachery But to save myself from danger I will tell you everything --Duras'kò: I can't believe I sold her out This isn't what I planned at all Trading one life for another, Have I done nothing for my cause? Guess there is no turning back now I cannot undo this mistake Above all else, they can't find out I have to take this to my grave -Alìyara’s home, that evening- --Duras'kò: We have a problem, I have suspicions I fear that Róçtok knows you're alive --Alìyara: How can he know this? What of our mission? There is no time to waste, we have to strike! --Yanà: I knew this boy was trouble He's put our lives in jeopardy! I wish that I never told you Your true identity --Duras’kò: You must believe me: you are mistaken There can't be any way I’d sell out! --Alìyara: And I believe you; you wouldn't do that I know that you are innocent without a doubt! --Yanà: But isn't it convenient That this occurs after I reveal the truth? It all seems so suspicious Aren't you surprised I don't believe you? --Alìyara: That's not important, the clock is ticking We're counting down to a last stand, a final fight! And so to Róçtok, it’s hell we're bringing Rally the troops, we attack at midnight, tonight! -Behind the palace walls, as the sun sets- --Róçtok: I'll finally make her bloodline pay For what they did to my family The sins of the father, the apple don't fall far The final piece falls into place So make your move to my checkmate! She will be mine, Alìyara will die by my hand! This battle will be mine, the war's almost won So well done, Duras'kò... my son.
13.
I. ON MY MARK [VERSE 1] --Duras'kò / Alìyara: This is it - the moment we've been waiting for Now it's time to finally settle the score We're waking up a nation that is comatose The water's still - and we’re about to rock the boat [CHORUS 1] --Duras'kò / Alìyara: Rally the troops - We are locked and loaded Ready to go - This is our moment Striking the match and about to light this fuse Róçtok beware - The revolution's coming When this is done, you'll be left with nothing We're taking it back - and we're coming after you [VERSE 2] --Duras'kò / Alìyara: Do you hear? We people have begun to sing A brand new tune - But I don't think they’re listening Compared to theirs, our melody is out of key So on my mark, we change the course of history [CHORUS 2] --Duras'kò / Alìyara: "Sound the alarm!" We hear their soldiers shouting It's just the start and they are all surrounded; With our guiding star, our mission's to reclaim her throne We’re on the attack - But still, be on your guard if They start to fight back - Don't worry about our target; Alìyara can confront him on her own --Alìyara: Don’t worry, I've got this! [BRIDGE] --Alìyara: Maybe he is willing to listen.. Violence is a last resort to me II. THE LAST STAND [VERSE 3] --Róçtok: You dare question my right to rule this land? What makes you think you can take it from me? --Alìyara: Róçtok, believe me, I understand I know exactly how you feel [VERSE 4] --Alìyara: Maybe we can rule this land together With you at my side, the way it was meant to be --Róçtok: (No!) There's no way I'll surrender Doesn't it hurt, to be denied your destiny? --Alìyara: Listen, Róçtok; the people all are crying Did you ever think that we would suffer in silence? --Róçtok: (Lies!) You're jealous of my triumph I freed them all from the rulings of a tyrant! [VERSE 5] --Róçtok: You made my home your slaves And turned us all complacent --Alìyara: We helped you on your way And stopped the warring nations Peace had been achieved all around So tell me Róçtok, who’s the tyrant now? III. HAVE AT YOU --Róçtok: "The things you say, they were never true... Enough, Alìyara! Have at you!" IV. HANLON'S RAZOR [VERSE 6] --Róçtok: It’s ironic - The one I neglected to kill Had got away and has now caused my blood to be spilled The world seems cold - I feel my light fading to black The end is near - and I know there’s no going back [CHORUS 3] --Róçtok: I'm now aware, there’s no use in fighting I see now that I was misguided I'm so ashamed of the man I turned into Promise me this - You will govern fairer Than I ever could - I know you'll do better I will place every ounce of faith in you [VERSE 7] --Alìyara: The deed is done - there'll be no more bloodshed tonight The war is won - and we're the victors of this fight We rolled the dice and now we are claiming our share But the sacrifice, the cost is my burden to bear [CHORUS 4] --Duras'kò: Go spread the word! The reign of Róçtok's over The tide has been turned and our future's golden! Mission complete! It’s the start of a new day! We claim the night as a new sun is rising You are the light, as you shine upon us, Your Majesty, it is time to take your place!

[VERSE 1] -On the day of Alìyara’s coronation as the first High Royal of the Second Eastern Union- --Alìyara: The days have all been slipping by They've slowly blurred into one Róçtok's defeat feels like yesterday, But where has all that time gone? I know that we've been preoccupied Rebuilding what we've reclaimed But we will rise up out the ash; A phoenix in the flames [VERSE 2] --Alìyara: And now as I'm walking down this aisle With millions of eyes on me I feel the weight of them staring down But deep inside, I must steel For this is my moment to show them all That I am the one to lead: So long as the Kingdoms can play along The Second Union will succeed And as I see a bright future come into view.. [CHORUS 1] --Alìyara: I know you're looking down on me The last of our blood You've seen the challenges I’ve faced And what I've overcome I know that wherever you are You're proud of what I've done You said that one day I would fly; Now, it's my turn to soar.. [VERSE 3] --Duras’kò: I know it seems hard and overwhelming Leading our people may leave you helpless So let me guide you, keep you from deceit And by my command, history won’t repeat Now I see a bright future come into view.. [CHORUS 2] --Duras’kò: I know they're looking down on you The last of your blood They've seen the challenges you've faced And what we've overcome I know that wherever they are They're proud of what you've done They said that one day you would fly; Now, it's your turn to soar.. [BRIDGE] --Parit''s spirit, looking down onto Alìyara: Now my spirit is at peace You've restored our dynasty With a brand new harmony, fixing Róçtok's discord As the future comes to be: You've fulfilled your destiny And like the Rings up in the sky Our legacy will thrive From today forevermore.. As I'm looking down: My daughter wearing our crown There's no other way to describe it, I couldn't be more proud Combining both ways, You've learned from our mistakes: As you agree to oversee, But let the people have their say...
